Accommodation
Sleeps 12 in owner's party, including 2 master staterooms. There are four double guest cabins each with private bath and shower. Crew's quarters are forward with the double cabins and engineer's cabin with twin bunks, each with individual head and shower. Interior design by Susan Puleo and Potter Stewart.
The MASTER STATEROOM is all the way forward on the main deck and is entered from the starboard side passageway. There is a centreline king size bed against the forward bulkhead with port and starboard bureaus and excellent storage space beneath the berth. On the aft bulkhead, there is a full entertainment centre with television, stereo, VCR etc. The stateroom is finished in a light coloured French maple accented with white marble countertops, and the forward bulkhead has bevel cut mirrors. The flooring is in white Edwards Fields wool carpet, and there are white silk wall coverings with matching custom drapes and custom matching duvet bed coverings. The white silk theme is carried through to the master bathroom which is off the port side aft, with navy and white marble with white and gold hand painted tiles, double sinks with gold Lapis fixtures, and full tub and shower. There are built-in drawers, vanity and on the port side, a gold accented working desk and matching chair. On the inboard side of the passageway on the starboard side, is a large walk-in accordion door hanging locking allowing for a large amount of storage space in this stateroom. Other features include a private phone line and fax/printer.
Aft from the master stateroom on a fore and aft starboard passageway, is a full athwartship passageway with powder room which is beautifully furnished in marble and gold fixtures. Opposite is a special locker in the passageway which houses a wine rack plus special wine cooler with individually controlled shelf temperatures, so wines can be stored at various temperatures.
Off the passageway aft is the entrance to the on-deck GALLEY, which has a full Garland commercial type, stainless steel 6-burner electric range with grill and ovens, a microwave and full air evacuating system. There are two stainless steel refrigerators/freezers, a centre island with counter space, sinks and two dishwashers. Aft and adjacent to the galley is a full stewards pantry with access to the dining room. This pantry has an additional refrigerator and a plumbed -in industrial coffee maker, ice maker and trash compactor as well as stainless steel counters. From the athwartship back into the fore and aft passageway is an on-deck closet.
To starboard amidship is a stairway going down to the VIP STATEROOM which is completely different from the on-deck master suite. It features a centreline king size bed against the forward bulkhead with the after bulkhead having all closets, except for the access door and the entertainment centre. There is also a port and starboard bureau, vanity table and desk and the entertainment centre has a stereo, TV, VCR etc. The décor in this room is finished in metallic blue acrylic Mercedes paint over French maple. The closets are bevel -faced mirrors. The bed has a colourful matching duvet cover and flooring is white short-nap carpet. There is a full black marble bath with nickel fixtures and sink, separate tub and vanity area.
On the main deck to starboard is a curved marble stairwell which accesses the wheelhouse, radio room an boat deck lounge. Aft of this stairwell is the entry to the dining saloon, which adjoins the main saloon. These are separated by a tasteful athwartship planter, which allows for visual contact through the main deck saloon when standing at the entrance to the dining salon. Walls of the main deck areas have been covered with over 3,000 ft² of saddle coloured leather. The floor covering is an Edward Fields 100% wool light beige pile carpet. The lighting is muted and indirect. Venetian blinds behind teak trim complete the window treatment in the dining/main saloon.
The DINING SALOON is large and functional with easy access to the steward's pantry through a swinging door on the forward port bulkhead. The dining table, which seats 12, is finished in high gloss off-white with three marble inserts, and has an Austrian microscope quality cut glass chandelier overhead.
Aft of the dining area is the MAIN SALOON. On the starboard side is a beautiful credenza, which houses crystal glassware etc. To port aft of the planter is an elongated L-shaped settee with occasional chairs, ottomans etc. Opposite this, two-thirds of the way back on the starboard side, is the entertainment centre which includes hidden television. Further aft on the same side is a lovely desk. On the port side is additional videotape storage. The cabinetry is hand-rubbed light French maple and accented with Byzantine gold acrylic paint.
Access to the four GUEST STATEROOMS is by a stairwell aft on the starboard side of the main saloon and concealed by the entertainment centre.
The two forward staterooms have oversized single berths and a sizeable en-suite bath arrangement with a marble countertop, duel sinks, shower, toilet etc. Each of these staterooms is individually decorated with earth-tone colour patterns and have large bureaux, large hanging lockers and full entertainment centres with television, VCR, stereo and CD player.
The two aft staterooms are slightly smaller and are decorated in earth tones with lively duvets and décor accents. They also have television sets, VCR's, CD players and en-suite baths with single sinks, marble countertops and tiled showers.
